An intimate show of sleight-of-hand magic

Time for Magic is an intimate live performance of magic and storytelling by World Champion Magician Helder Guimarães, presented inside his creative studio in downtown Porto. With only 22 guests per performance, the experience is designed to feel personal, close and unlike a conventional theatre show. 

No. Time for Magic is created primarily for an adult audience. It combines sophisticated sleight of hand, storytelling, illusion and theatrical performance.

We recommend the experience for ages 12 and over. The performance is intimate and story-driven, so younger children may find the format less suitable.

Allow approximately 90 minutes for the performance, plus a little extra time for arrival and seating.

Yes. These performances are presented entirely in English and are designed for an international audience.

Very close. This is one of the defining elements of Time for Magic. Guests share an intimate setting with Helder, allowing you to experience the magic from just a few feet away rather than from the back of a large theatre. 

Only 22 guests are admitted to each session.

Both ticket types offer the complete Time for Magic experience. Inner Circle seats place you closest to Helder and at the table, while Studio Seats are positioned slightly further back yet still within the intimate 22-person setting.

No formal dress code. Come as you feel comfortable. Smart casual is always a good choice for an evening performance.

To preserve the mystery and the experience for everyone, photography and filming are not permitted during the performance. You are very welcome to take photographs in the lobby before or after the show.

Yes, there are moments of audience interaction, but participation is always handled naturally and respectfully. You will never be placed in an uncomfortable situation.

The core performance remains carefully structured, but because the audience is so small and participation is part of the experience, every evening has its own rhythm and character.

Not at all. No prior interest in magic is needed. In fact, skeptics are very welcome.
